Alma suffers from depersonalisation and feels that her body does not belong to her. Like the dissociative disorder, the narrative is governed by the lack of continuity of Alma’s thoughts and actions. The universe is constructed through the character’s mind and the causes of this disorder. Among them we distinguish the most obvious, which is alienation and the external perception of her own body.
