Lobo

One hot June afternoon, Sara runs out of her home. She is running away from her husband, Vicente, after being threatened with death by him. She only takes a small backpack and her dog Lobo with her. Sara decides to live in a car with Lobo so as not to have to leave him with his abuser. After a few days of hardship, and after losing everything, they both retire to the forest to live in a tent. Despite the beauty of their new home, Sara struggles to adapt to her nomadic life and the psychological consequences of the abuse. The film tackles the issue of male violence through a novel approach, that of the human-animal bond in an environment of violence.
